Super 8s: Free maths resources
My latest project
My mrbartonmaths.com website is long overdue for a makeover. I launched it 20 years ago, and I haven’t updated it in about 5 years.
Having experimented with AI for resource creation over the last 18 months, I knew I wanted to create a new batch of resources for the site. But my recent conversation with Duncan Grantham on my podcast gave me the idea of using HTML to create resources.
Hence, Super 8s was born.
Super 8s offer targeted maths practice. Each one is focused on a single topic, and each topic is broken down into skills. You can choose to practice a single skill, or a mixture. And with one click of a button, you can generate new questions, see answers, see step-by-step solutions, view in full-screen mode, or generate a lovely-looking worksheet.
Here is a 2-minute video showing it in action:
And here are some screenshots:

I plan to create many more of these resources over the Christmas holidays, and in the new year, I will write a post for my Eedi newsletter explaining exactly how I created them.
If you get a chance this week, have a play around with the Super 8s I have created, and if they are helpful, please help spread the word by sharing them. Super 8s, and everything on my new-look mrbartonmaths.com website, will always be free.
Thanks so much for reading this, and enjoy the last week of term.
