Is the overall long-term result of better learning because each week the students have to revise all the topics, not just one. I noticed when my daughter was at school, the kids are a lot more strategic about what they study and not in a good way. Many times, I heard, "I've got enough credits already, so I don't have to bother too much with this test."

If the kids know they're getting a block test on one thing, is that all they study for?
